Miss Foxy, what is that green stuff being served with the fish and chips that I see in pictures from Britain? In the States fish and chips are served with tartar sauce, but it’s white over here.
 
The green stuff is mushy peas, a British delicacy which complements fish and chips very well :biggrin: but is not always necessary in order to enjoy the meal ..| We like tartar sauce here too but not all the time. My favourite accompaniment to the meal is parsley sauce but I don't think that is something that is served when dining out.
