After all of the fun that we had in San Antonio, GL247 and I were talking about having our next Regional JUB Meet in St. Louis.

We've even talked Absolut into hosting! :badgrin:

We're talking about March or April 2008.

Considering it's proximity to so many members in the Midwest, we're thinking that this would be an excellent next choice!

What do y'all think?

I should be able to swing it. Only thing I know of that's happening is my cousin's getting married the first weekend in April (I think?) So as long as it's not on that weekend, I should be able to go.

lemme see... starting clockwise i recall iowa, illinois, kentucky, tennessee, arkansas, oklahoma, kansas and nebraska share a state line with missouri. now i don't honestly know what the travel times or distances would be to st. louis from those states but i thought i would share that info nonetheless for a bit of perspective. ;)

i'm sure that is not what centex meant. but simply put st. louis is smack dab in the middle.

the last couple of meets we've hosted have been wide open invitations to everybody. in fact the last meet we hosted two wonderful members travelled all the way from bogota, colombia to party with us. so if anyone wants to come from either the east or west coast or even from canada (hint, hint), it's do-able and you are all welcomed.

Well just do me one littel favor if you have it on the 2nd weekend in April you could you have your first drink that friday in my name please April 11 is my b-day thanks

I'll keep it in mind! Sadly can't make any definite plans just yet. But I surprised you guys for SA maybe I can do it again ..|

And oooo! I could possibly host! I hope you all like Cardinal games :lol: j/k..

either STL or Chicago would be good to me. I know that Chicago is bigger (hence more to do) but either city would be fine with me. Both are definitely fantastically beautiful cities.

But yes, I won't know where I'm gonna be for work until closer to the date. If it becomes cemented, I'll ask for a vacation day. ..|
