Keeping with the Jean Michel Jarre theme, this piece from Rendez-Vous was composed for Ron McNair who was to record the saxophone portion aboard the Space Shuttle Challenger. It was to be the first music recorded in space and used in Jean Michel's Rendez-Vous album. The piece, now called Ron's Piece, became, instead, a memorial - a tribute - eerily haunting and astoundingly beautiful.

The first time I heard this, I was driving, and had to pull over. . . still gives me goosebumps.
 
I don't normally like Christmas music, but at least this one is original



She really does have a nice voice



 
I'm trying to think of something that people on here might like. I'm a big Tori Amos fan so I could choose almost any of her songs, but I'll go with this classic one, Winter :cool:
