Ironically for a lot of Christians the rich seem to be the only people the bible states will not or will struggle to enter heaven. But the biblical illiteracy and hypocrisy of your average vocal Christians is extremely irritating and infuriating. To somebody who grew up in a Christian cult.


Matthew 19:24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”

Mark10:17 As Jesus started on his way, a man ran up to him and fell on his knees before him. “Good teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?”

Mark 10:21 Jesus looked at him and loved him. “One thing you lack,” he said. “Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”


James 5:1-6 Now listen, you rich people, weep and wail because of the misery that is coming on you. 2. Your wealth has rotted, and moths have eaten your clothes. Your gold and silver are corroded. Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire. You have hoarded wealth in the last days. 4. Look! The wages you failed to pay the workers who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord Almighty. 5. You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves in the day of slaughter. 6. You have condemned and murdered the innocent one, who was not opposing you.

No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

I cannot understand the warped psychology of these politicians.

It's not "These politicians" that you have to worry about. They're just putting on a show for their constituents -- to hang on to their jobs.

Over 77,000,000 very stupid, very mean/hateful, very dangerous American voters put Trump in office. Those are the shit-brain bastards you need to watch out for. ---- Your neighbours, your store clerks, your postal workers, your gas station attendants, . . . they're all around you -- up close, and every day.

It is is true that what these "Christians" are doing is utter blasphemy.

In the bible most of the warnings about immorality, hypocrisy etc are aimed at religious people


And for example his only act of violence I can remember was targeted at people making money at the Temple:

John 2:13When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover, Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 14In the temple courts he found people selling cattle, sheep and doves, and others sitting at tables exchanging money. 15So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.

Also: In the story of the widow's mite, Jesus highlights the generosity of a poor widow who gave two small coins (mites) to the temple treasury, emphasizing that she gave more than the rich people who donated large sums. Jesus explains that the rich gave out of their abundance, while the widow gave everything she had to live on. This story is found in the New Testament, specifically in Mark 12:41-44 and Luke 21:1-4
