It's time to remember the woman who was a powerfull figure in the UK.

What are your fondest memories about the woman who made history? Do you think she was a good prime minister?

Edit: sorry about Margarat.

Margeret.

Re: Remembering Margarat Thatcher. (The Iron Lady)

Did she die on this day or something?

Re: Remembering Margarat Thatcher. (The Iron Lady)

She was a dried up old cunt...............basically.

Re: Remembering Margarat Thatcher. (The Iron Lady)

Was anyone a fan of her work as Prime Minister?

Re: Remembering Margarat Thatcher. (The Iron Lady)

Cameron and the current crop of pollies look like spineless jelly in comparison.

neither — nor.

Margaret.

She was a very close friend of dictator Pinochet, and others of that ilk. Enough said, basically.

Re: Remembering Margarat Thatcher. (The Iron Lady)

The day she left office - that is my fondest memory.

I remember when George Osborne cried at her funeral. The current Conservative members looked up to her.

Re: Remembering Margarat Thatcher. (The Iron Lady)

I think she had a lot of things right. People generally don't want to have to go through tough times, and if they do, they want to sacrifice policy to make things better. she stuck to her guns through some tough times.

Re: Remembering Margarat Thatcher. (The Iron Lady)

Who thought she did a decent job? Was she fair?

Re: Remembering Margarat Thatcher. (The Iron Lady)

We must be at the bottom of the barrel for threads if we have to resurrect a Margaret Thatcher adoration/hate topic to masticate over.

Re: Remembering Margarat Thatcher. (The Iron Lady)

I cannot think of a single politician today that would handle a media person as well as Margaret Thatcher.

Re: Remembering Margarat Thatcher. (The Iron Lady)

Recognising the extremes that she evokes in people's opinions of her and on her political and social achievements I am for my own safety going to keep my opinions to myself. ;)

Is it true she gave Reagan a blow job in the 10 Downing St pantry?
