Removing back hair

Got some Nair and tried it.

Results are... okay.

I'm going to have someone apply it to my back. It wasn't all that great trying to reach back there. A little of the stuff got on my nipple, and just burned it up something awful.

I'm fine in the other areas, and I'm guessing that next time will be a lot more smoother.

Back is rough to do by yourself so that's why I get that waxed. Stays clear of hair for about 6 weeks so its worth it. I just did legs with Nair for Men and now looks good with back and ass smooth. :wave:

Defently trying waxing next. Got some help with my back and the nair today, and it didn't go over well.

I guess my skin is just too sensitive for nair, cause certain parts of my upper arm are just bad burned. In addition to my nipple that accedentally got some on it, and was taken care of right away. It isn't pretty...

Waxing sounds like the way to go. Person knows what to do, and they'll take care of it all.

So, Nair really did nothing.

After a week my shoulder and back hair are back to where they were when I tried nair. Luckly, my burns healed as fast as well.

Either Nair just doesn't work for me, or my hair just grows really fast. This makes me wonder if laser hair removale is the only "long term" solution.

Try waxing. I just got my back and bum waxed several weeks ago and still all clear.

I use Nair For Men on my thighs, calves, and even feet with no burning. When I first did several times, I did get the burn-irritation but again, it's all timing. I leave it on for a minimum of 5 minutes. When you see the hair start to curl up, then its time to get the wet, warm wash cloth and remove it. Jump in the shower and gently remove the cream. It will come right off. Just did my chest yesterday and it looks great!

It's also good to get a benzoyl peroxide cream wash. You can mix it with a moisturizing soap like Cetaphil after your waxing as it will prevent breakouts. But I think waxing will be your removal of choice. The first time will be "torture" and again, use a ben-peroxide solution to clean skin. It will stay smooth for about 4-6 weeks.

Hope that helps! :wave::wave:

Nair is not designed to remove hair for weeks and months. It doesn't do anything to the root of the hair; waxing rips the hair out with the root, that's why results last longer. And yes, some people grow hair much faster than others. Laser can be a good long term solution but you have to be a candidate for laser because it doesn't work on all hair types. If your back is full of coarse, dense, dark hair then laser can reduce a great amount. But it never kills 100% of the hairs. Some people that complete laser then transition to electrolysis to finish the job if they want completely hair free results.

Try waxing first and see if you're satisfied with the results and cost that goes into it for regular waxing. Not all waxing places are equal. Do your homework and find the right salon with experience.

Thanks. I'm trying to find some places, but I'm not familuar with prices and what not.

About the wash stuff. I use this for my face and have been trying this for my back.
