Local Houston media is reporting that Gabrielle Giffords wants to go to Florida in April to watch her husband lift off into space. Yes, Houston is the largest health center in the world, with the Texas Medical Center employing nearly 100,000 employees including 20,000 doctors and research scientists.

The center contains 49 medicine-related institutions, including 13 hospitals and two specialty institutions like the one where Giffords is being rehabilitated, two medical schools (Baylor and U of Texas), four nursing schools, and schools of dentistry, public health, pharmacy, and other health-related practices.
 
Did she ask for toast or did she say Sarah Palin was toast?

Are you sure you aren't off a digit on those numbers? Those make each institution the size of a small town.
