Are you sure you got this right? Are you sure that coda to prevent gay unions wasn't somehow related to creating jobs or the economy? I mean, they've SAID they are all about jobs so maybe this was related to economic stimulation and you just missed something.

Now, any time a marriage or similar ceremony is done at a military base, devout Republicans will show up to strip-search both individuals, to make sure there's no same-sex thing going on.


If it reaches his desk, Obama should address the nation and explain the matters of hate and bigotry, the religious oppression and opposition to the love of Christ, that this represents, and tear out the pages containing the hatred, toss them in the fire -- and sign what's left.
If any Republicans protest he can't do that, he should reply that he learned it from his predecessor.
