And of course, part of the Republican agenda is to actually drive more and more people away from supporting any political party. This works as well for the plutocrats as having the rabble trying to support your party.

It is actually better to have a largely disaffected and inactive population because that way you don't have the danger (like they've found out with the t-baggers) of having other ideas distract from the real purpose of serving the needs of the banks and the corporations who actually own the legislature.

So if the Repubs can just get all the fags to stay home for the next election...it is win/win.

But it is interesting don't you find, to have a country where no amount of tax money is too much to plough into warcraft, but any amount of tax dollars for healthcare, education and social security is too much?

Healthcare, education, and social security are not functions authorized by the Constitution.
