Ummm. LOL Mine is white, my friends are white. The Elite is black (rumour is that it's being discontinued) and the Halo version is hunter green.

But you got blonde hair and blue eyes so for you I'll pretend it's grey!

As for the game....ummmmm FREAKING AWESOME!! I'm playing with a friend online and we stopped for a break/supper. Completed up to chapter 2-1 now. The game is amazing. The zombies pop up everywhere and trust me...you have to play it asap!! This could be the best Resident Evil yet!

I may get it. I think I'll take babysteps first and get RE4. I've never had much luck with the few ones I've played to be honest. I suck at reflexive-intensive shooting games (which is a reason I don't play FPS games) and when it is combined with the intentionally awkward controls, I am horrible. However, everyone I know tells me that RE4 is not like the first original games, and is more newbie friendly. We'll see.

There are no cheat codes. But find a friend to play with you. Makes the game much easier and doubles the scares!

I'm in a position to perhaps pick up a 360 and Rock Band II as a perk. The Narny and I played it over Christmas at my eldest daughters. She got it from her husband and we had a blast.

With an Xbox 360, we can play online with them.

I've been thinking of getting RE 5 as well and am quite interested in your comments and reviews on it. NO spoilers though please.

Well, I'm not much good at writing a review....maybe I try and post it as a Blog topic once I get closer to beating the game. But if you have any questions Pianist, please ask away and I try my best to answer them without giving away spoilers!

Three Resident Evil Games Announced For Wii

Capcom has announced that a sequel to Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles will be coming to the Wii this winter, as well as remakes of two popular GameCube Resi games.

Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles will focus mainly on the story of Resident Evil 2. As in the previous game, it'll be a first-person lightgun game and promises to fill in more gaps in the Resident Evil storyline.

Naturally, since Resident Evil 2 was available on the PlayStation and N64, the Darkside Chronicles re-telling has been given a hefty lick of paint. Leon Kennedy now looks like he did in Resident Evil 4.


If first-person lightgun shooters aren't your thing then you may be more interested in Capcom's new "Resident Evil Classics" line, which consists of older Resident Evil games being given Wii remakes (much like Resident Evil 4 did) and released at a budget price.

The two "classics" confirmed are Resident Evil 0 and the GameCube remake of Resident Evil. Both will be updated with Wii controls.

Are you looking forward to more Resident Evil lightgun action? Or are you more tempted by the remakes?

I'm tempted by both, but mostly the remakes (if the Wii controls are what they are advertising them to be - Resident Evil 4 Wii controls)

Yeah yeah yeah, nice graphics, but how's the GAMEplay?

Don't care about how spiff it looks if it doesn't play well or is too short; my biggest complaint about RE:UC. We blew through it pretty fast difficulty settings notwithstanding.

Okay the game play is just like Resident Evil 4. If you liked the controls, the cut scenes where you have to tap the buttons that appear on the screen and you like your boss fights, big, bad and ugly. Then you won't be disappointed.

Now the game going through on single player is okay. But with a real life partner controlling the other character in the game, makes it 5000x better. Plus there's the usual easy, normal, and hard settings. On hard some of the "zombies" get back up after you kill them so I'm told. Once you beaten the game, the fun doesn't end there. There's a mini game called "MERCS" where you play major characters from the game and have a mission to complete in a certain time.

Still not happy? Don't worry there's more via XBOX LIVE. Two new mini games and a couple other things are coming in the next few weeks from Capcom that you can download over live to extend the life of the game. How long is it? Its somewhere in the ballpark of Resident Evil 4. But without the long, boring parts. IE Castle in RE $ anybody?! lol
