Capcom have not said it's Chris Redfield, and have gone some way to saying it's actually the H.U.N.K. operative from previous instalments that'll be the main character. Either way i want it, the las Biohazard game I played was the original Code Veronica.

Hey I only went the HUNK route because that's what old Capcom were peddling in the initial press junkets, so don't crucify me! And yeah, it WAS a PS3 exclusive, but stupid programming issues (a Plague of all PS's) and the divebomb in sales meant it went Multi-platform quickly, like Devil May Cry 4, Virtua Fighter 5 And GTA 4, which were all supposed to be PS3 exclusives. Oops.

The Wii version is going to be undoubtedly amusing. At a Nintendo keynote, they unveiled a new controller, so it's not just something you'll be plugging the wiimote into. Grasped by both hands, trigger up front and a thumb joystick on back. I'm probably not doing any justice to it with my description, but putting arcade style dynamics for home consoles when it comes to shooters is a big up for me (duck hunt?).

Anyone know anything about RE coming through with PSP? So far it's got Silent Hill, but it looks horrible both gamewise and story.

The game looks like its going to be awesome but much harder than 4. I'm holding out hope that it is released sooner rather than later.

That new extended trailer looks absoutely nuts. African zombies/Idon'tknowwhatthefucks' with weapons in masses... I can't wait for it.

Looks like a good game, but I agree, Raccoon City type atmosphere would of been a better setting, it would of been during the night time, compared to a day setting where you can spot a person from long distance and be more alert of when they come.

Regardless of the time of day, you'll still have access to a sniper rifle / semi automatic rifle, so you can still spot people from a distance.

I think this is very promising -- while in RE4 there were at times a lot of Ganados, it was not anywhere near the amount shown in the trailer. You're lucky if you have 10 enemies at one time in RE4, while in the trailer there are 20+. These enemies hold you down, attack from different directions, and ambush you in small buildings with weapons.

Amazingly it looks like a huge step up from Resi 4. :eek:

I think they're gonna blow it right out of the water with this one. It looks like 4's awesome graphics, gameplay, intensity, innovation, all multiplied by 1000.

And since they're obviously not rushing it, there's probably even more good news on the way.

Nice graphics, but that's about it... :( and I don't think setting it in Africa was such a good idea... what kind of message is that sending out to people who are more impressionable?

I hope they are right about Jill but as for Steve I dont know. If its true that he is back I wonder how the hell they are going to handle that one.
