Yeah, those sunglasses scream Wesker which would have to mean Chris. However, I don't know how to feel about another one of these movies. Extinction ruined it for me, but I'll probably end up giving it a chance anyway.

Set in LA yet the majini Executioner is there? Resi mashup! As long as it doen't end up being the Milla show again it could be good.

BY THE WAY WHAT THE FUCK WITH THAT FIRST SENTENCE?!?!?! I SURE AS SHIT DIDN'T PUT IT THERE.

Being a RE fan since I Was a little kid, I'll see the movie, just like I Saw the other 3. Doesn't mean I'll like it, but it's always good to get excited. :)

and yeah thats definitely Chris and Claire(or Alice) in the reflection of wesker throwing his glasses??

I Love Milla Jovovich..I feel she is such an underrated actress...She was awesome in the 2009 Sci-Fi Flick "The 4rth Kind".....Sometimes the different wigs & hairstyles she wears in movies makes it hard to recognize her...But once you see those "eyes" you know you've seen her on something.....I loved RE-3...I will be checking out RE-4 even if the trailor is terrible.....

Rising TV/Movie Star Boris Kodjoe is also in the 4th Flick and he's one of the Hottest Fuckers in GollyWood...His acting is "decent" and a work in progress but his LOOKS is worth a triple-take...Looking forward to seeing what he brings to the movie...

Good-looking Boris & his Beautiful wife Nicole...

It's Wentworth Miller who is playing Chris in this movie and I'm sure I read that Ali Larter will be also playing Claire.

If I didn't know better, I would say they were trying to do something similar in that Wesker sunglasses screenshot like they did with Resident Evil 5 at the end before the second Wesker fight.

Argh, I dunno.

I do love the Resident Evil films, but my problem is that they're just not really Resident Evil.

I think the first one made a pretty decent attempt to be honest, even if it did have quite a few things that sort of killed the tone. But since then the films have been going off into a completely different genre, just using some familiar characters, locations and very loose plot points from the games.

I really like the look of the new film, but at the same time it's about the furthest thing from a Resident Evil film that I would expect. The films have become too heavy on the 'hot chicks with guns' angle (the showdown between Claire and the executioner was looking really good until that unnecessary backflip shot made me cringe). The games were about normal (albeit some specially trained) people fighting against monsters, but in the films it seems just about everyone is some kind of superhero.

That said, I think it'll still be a fun movie. I just wish there was a more faithful adaptation of the series - at least something in the right genre would be good.

The only problem I've ever felt with people wanting a faithful adaption of the series is that if they completely based the movies off the game, there really wouldn't be much of anything new for the fans to enjoy because they already would know what would happen. I know there's a lot of disagreement about the quality of the last three movies, but I've personally enjoyed them with the "Alice" twist because it brings something fresh. I probably would enjoy the movie series less if I knew they were basing a huge percentage of the movies based off the games themselves because of what the fans already know about it.

I didn't even know there was going to be another one. I'm excited. I think people take movies that are based on games or books too seriously. Always complaining about how they "aren't as good as the book" or they "leave stuff that was in the game out"... blah blah blah. If it's that big of a deal, then don't see it. Otherwise, enjoy it for what it is. An action movie BASED on a videogame.

^^^^I didnt know about the 4th flick either until this thread...Kinda makes since though...RE-3 was a HIT..

Millas da bomb :( I felt the need to step into my time machine and use that phrase for a second.

Oh my God... I AM SO READY

I love everything about the RE movies

UGHHHh that trailer murdered me, brought me back to life, shot me in the face, shot me in the chest, brought me back again, then did it all over again.

wow....looks likes its gonna be GOOD!! i didnt even know there was another one coming out eithaer until i saw this thread

Pretty stoked there's a fourth film. :D

Ali Larter looks hotter this time around. In RE:III she looked a bit meh.

Thats strange you mention that, I was watching Final Destination with my Aunt and we had the same conversation, how she looks very plain with dark hair but really pretty (some would say hot) with blonde.

I think this movie should be good as long as it doesn't take TOO much from the fourth and fifth video games!

^ I agree with you on that.

Ali Larter is stunning as a blonde, but any other hair color and she becomes 'just another girl' if that makes sense.

She definitely looks better as a blonde, which is probably why I'm mesmerized by her in heroes. :D

Yeah I think she's stunning as a blonde and she's a great actress, loved her in Obsessed! :D
