I feel the same way. I'll watch it. Honestly though the other 3 have killed me when it comes to characters. So far Jill was the only accurate one. I have yet to understand why Claire is so butch now though. I wish that they would've decided to stick closer to the video game. They obviously seemed to have the resources for it. So far I've only enjoyed degeneration.

Degeneration was awesome! But not enough of Claire kicking ass.

Though the few minutes of her action screentime was bad ass.

Alyson Court will forever be the best Claire Redfield, she owned it in Degeneration and I loved her as Yoko in Outbreak.

Allow me to rant. I hate this movie series with a passion. They should re-title it Milla Jovovich: The Movie and it'll 'prolly end with Anderson licking her feet while she turns into cosmic Jean Grey and smites all the zombies on the planet with a single thought.

Hell, saying it's based on the games just makes it more shitty because Anderson ended up having a free-range of original material which he had nothing to do with creatively to freely choose and butcher just to make his magical wife look like the greatest action heroine of our generation.

It's like creating a brand new character and having her lead the armies of men and elves against Mordor and calling it Lord of the Rings. I fucking hate it.

I think after the first RE movie I knew he was going to direct this franchise into a burning building. But I am anticipating on where he is going with RE Afterlife, if it becomes a total pile of shit then it will be a pile of shit. I like Mortal Kombat a lot it stuck to a storyline that the game followed as well.

When it comes to Anderson movies, I think Event Horizon is the one that makes me want to kill him the least, followed by MK.

I am obscenely curious as to how Las Plagas managed to end up in the next movie though. They could have dug it out during the first movie but I don't really see why Wesker would cultivate the virus if the whole planet is already zombified anyway.

Also, when it comes to looking like Chris, I think they should have grabbed Marco Dapper. He looks like the type to beat up boulders.

He already killed Carlos anyway (from a virus that he already vaccinated himself against in part 2) so who's to say he won't kill every Resi character there is? I'm hoping more for a Jill sandwich.

As with any movie that is based on some other form of media, I remove it from the source material and treat each as their own universe, so to speak.

I think they did a good job with these movies, if they didn't, the studio wouldn't be plowing money into a shit series.

I liked the Mortal Kombat movies, the Tomb Raider movies and I like these movies because of the fact that they usually have a bit of everything, decent stories and usually an actor/actress that I like.
