Op-Ed Resign from Office Mr. Vice President

All this fake outrage by Springer is really boring.

The right wing slams the President for his religion, but are the Democrats supposed to say anything about Romney's religion? The right wing talks about hoe the President is an outsider, a foreigner, not one of us, but do Democrats say things like that about Romney? If Romney and AWESOME Eddie really care about the country, why do they want to take everything away from the middle class and give it to the rich?

Obama is an Arab.... remember that? Springer, where was your outrage for that lie?

I wanna see his birth certificate! I want to see Romney's birth certificate and tax returns. The President gave his birth certificate and tax returns.

You're really selective in your outrage.

ADDED:

There, did your multiple 50" monitors read that.....LOL!!

lots of folks think Biden's words were bad news - lots - not just Jack - if you read the posts you'd know that

if you took yourself out of your bubble, you'd know that

A former Obama co-chair Artur Davis thinks the words were very bad news

he said .....

It brought back memories for me," Davis told Wolf Blitzer on CNN's "The Situation Room." "It brought back memories of these Democratic politicians in the South, who think they can go before crowds and say one thing and nobody else will hear it, and they'll somehow get a cheer in the room and that they can blithely go on about their business."

Saying Biden went to a place he "never should have gone" in his remarks, Davis called the vice president's words insulting.

"It's a divisive tactic that's insulting to African Americans," Davis said. "It's insulting to the American people. It's insulting to the legacy that he used to build up as an orator who used to know how to inspire people instead of strike fear in people's heart."

What's so damn hard in saying that Biden shouldn't have said what he did about putting people in chains?

People will respect you more if you'd be honest -- you don't have to believe every move, word, or deed of the politician you like. They are not perfect people.

nothing but phony outrage. hipocrisy at its best.

I'm lost on the phony outrage thing -- explain yourselves.

nothing but phony outrage. hipocrisy at its best.

I think even bigger would be even more BIG ;)

did you hear him speak

Y'all - what the fuck is Y'all?

and 1/2 the audience (conservatively) was black

how do u explain his comments?

The only reason a right winger would be hurt by the saying is if they were a racist.

The only reason a right winger would be hurt by the saying is if they were a racist.

the comments weren't directed at right wingers

it was directed to the audience which turns out now was predominantly black - the original story was it was a white audience

the message is that romney and his policies are anti black

he just got back from vacation so maybe he was off his game

he looked a little baked

There was nothing racial about Biden's comment. He said Romney/Ryan wanted to unchain Wall Street and put you in chains. Yes he used a slavery analogy which I believe everyone understands was an analogy. It it patently obvious he did not mean literally chaining people and you all darn well know it. All this faux outrage is disingenuous at best.

In case you still don't get it, R&R want to remove Wall Street regulations and give corporations free reign. They want to unchain Wall Street and put the people in chains of economic slavery to plutocratic corporate masters.

Frankly I agree with the Vice President and applaud him for telling it like is.

^^^^^

The quote from Biden was "they gonna put ya'll back in chains".

"back in chains" ---- get it?

I don't understand the complete loyalty.

Biden said something that was not acceptable -- why can't you just admit that and go on with life?

JH - Biden was talking with a room half full of black people.

Listen to his fake accent. It's the same accent that Hillary Clinton and Obama use when they talk with black crowds.

Why do all of your post read like a grocery store checkout tabloid? (i.e.National Enquirer, The Star, or the Globe). A very similar model to how Fox news structures its cable presentation. I am beginning to see the connection with these post and the target demographic for such media.

Reminds me -- I'd better finish my list for the grocery store tomorrow.

Just so you know -- I watch MSNBC more than FOX. However I do watch Special Report in the evening -- Rev King Tut Al drives me nuts.

First, my outrage is directed toward anyone who has an issue with the word "Ya'll" or "Y'all". Fantastic sound that slips out of my mouth countless times in a day. Too many snobs around here....

As for Biden, just more political games where the haters jump on a statement that otherwise would be ignored. It really is tiresome with so many issues in this country that people seize the moment when the politcal side whom they're against says something stupid. I would challenge any of you to be on cameras and on stages seemingly around the clock in an emotional, personal battle with stakes this high and not slip-up with your comments on multiple occasions. I tip my hat to these 3 ...well, now 4...men who are constantly be scrutinized for a slip of the tongue.

Hell, consider this: I'm rather distant from "y'all country" but that word comes out of my mouth every so often. I probably use the word somewhat differently than it's used in the Y'all Belt - when I use the word you can rest assured I'm using it as a term of endearment, at least to a degree.

the point is you say it - it's YOU

it's not HIM

did you LISTEN to the tape - he's clowning - it's just dumb

the haters????

I like Biden

his comments were DUMB - low brow bullshit

It is rather interesting that the Romney Campaign has such a wonderful message that they can focus on this for a few days.

jesus - project much??

well one - i was talking to sammie

two - sammie is a southernor

biden isn't

it would roll off sammie's tongue

biden's is forced and phony

your "project much" is a confusing comment

I've been through this thread several times and whenever I pass this post I want to say something, then I think why stir the shit. Well I've changed my mind. I use "y'all" more than just "you". So I'm gonna take offense. Y'all know better than this.

Y'all is fine if your from Texas. Biden was born in Pennsylvania and lived in Delaware.

Sammi - Biden was reading from a speech that day -- it was not impromptu.

His wording and speech were clearly planned -- there is a difference.
