In honor of Shania Twain, Blink 182 and Smashing Pumpkins releasing new music next year, since it's clearly 2001 again, let's all go back two decades. Whether it's fashion or your career or your love life, what was goin on in your world, or the world, 20 years ago?

Before we begin, I need help picking an outfit, since I was in high school 20 years ago. A or B? I know you have some questions about B: are those pants or shorts? The answer is yes.

Not a good time for me. I was making a buttload of cash waiting tables at an Italian restaurant, taking too many drugs and sleazing around too much. Basically just sowing the seeds for my giant nervous breakdown on 2/5/05, which completely upended and redirected my life.
