Last night I dreamed I was driving on a country road that had a lake on one side and an open field on the other. I parked my car in the open field and went home. The dream did not make clear how I actually got home, however.
The next day I was driving on this same road and look over to see my car still sitting in this field. I keep driving.
The day after that, the same thing. Finally, one day I notice my car in the field with the trunk open. "Hmmm", I think to myself. I continue home without stopping. The next day when I see my car in the field with the trunk open, I decided to stop and look in the trunk. There in the center of the trunk is a big hole surrounded by straw and grass like a nest. When I look under the car, a giant white seagull flies out. So naturally my first thought is to take the car home and let my cat smell the inside of the trunk. When I get home, I put my cat in the trunk and sure enough, he is fascinated by the smell of seagull piss.

End of dream.#-o

Care to analyze my dream or share an absurd one of your own?

^Amazes me that during a dream nothing really strikes you as odd.

I mean, you could live inside a moon made of cheese in a dream and look out of your bedroom window onto the Titanic sailing around the Eiffel Tower, which is in your swimming pool, and you'd think to yourself "...yeah, so?"

Our dreams are often (not always) related to a journey, providing us with landscapes that open our sight to hidden or, concealed clues that encourage us to discover that which lies behind the door (the trunk lid) waiting for us to reveal its purpose in our life.

The seagull taking flight from its nesting place might well suggest that in granting freedom to the seagull to take wing, you are releasing a desire, or aspiration if you will to enter into a new venture.

The cat symbolises curiosity for that which is attracting your attention sufficiently to warrant opening the trunk door.

There is insufficient data in your recollection for me to be more precise when attempting to understand whether the new undertaking is business orientated, or related to family matters that speak to changes in the pipeline.

I had multiple dreams last night but the one I remember vividly is, The one with Rachel Green. I was about to play basketball with my cousins then out of nowhere she comes out. Why she was in my dream is beyond me.

Last night I dreamt that my mom had died and I wasn't there to say goodbye.

I cried like a baby in my dream and woke up freaked out.

I should actually call it a nightmare.

I rarely have bad dreams, but when I do, they seem to hang over me like a dark cloud for part of my day.

I don't know that I believe in analyzing dreams.

I would say that since we made the decision a few weeks ago not to adopt the baby that was due this month, it has been weighing on my mind and often I think of her before I go to sleep. She was due to be born this week, in fact.
My dream, however, was very lighthearted and the scenery was very beautiful, much like the area in which I live, but not familiar to me. I know that when I woke up from the dream I was very amused by the absurdness of it all.

^ THIS.

Sounds just like one of my possible dreams, if you replace "the Titanic" with "a college dormitory" and "moon" with walnut, LOL. For variation, add in Shakespeare somehow.

Very thankfully I don't dream about politics.

…a country road that had a lake on one side and an open field on the other….…
you have the ability to choose from two alternatives
a big hole surrounded by straw and grass like a nest…
an empty nest
…a giant white seagull flies out…
freedom
……my cat …is fascinated by the smell of seagull piss.
a lingering doubt, but it's a small and unimportant

:)

I need more than two options. An empty nest is not really empty, it is just waiting for new occupants. Freedom to or from??? I prefer my doubts to be nagging.
