There is nowhere to look but people.
Now unless it's a hot guy sitting across...it's not fun.

I like the Subway. It's the only public place you can have sex in, and not get arrested, because there are no police to stop you. Well....if I've seen that on X-Tube, it must be true. Right?

I would read the english words on asian fashion clothes when riding the Seoul or Tokyo subways. Some phrases were pretty funny, and not intentional, much like asian tattoos western guys have.

I just recently took the subways for the first time. In Toronto. Wow, they go everywhere! Plus they were clean. Not what I expected, coming from where I live. Here in Cleveland, though I have not ridden them, I here they are crap, dirty, and go to only three major places in and around the city.

I thought the NYC subway was much crappier than the Boston one.
Other than that I haven't been on any other ones....

DC's Metro has some hot guys, but the system is much more crowded than it used to be... esp. during rush hour. I ride it all the time; I don't have or drive a car.

I've only ridden one a few times and it was fairly awkward. There was a black, drunk Santa singing a Christmas carol and getting maybe a third of the words right and when he was finished he took his hat off and held it out to each person for about twenty seconds. No one gave him money and I only had $80 to Christmas shop with so I couldn't help him out either. :/
Later that day my sister made a racist comment about asians while we were surrounded by them and when I gave her the death stare she said, "What?! It's not like they understand what I'm saying."

Pretty awkward.

When I was living in the San Francisco Bay Area, I used to ride every form of Public Transit system, and I especially like The commute Train, and the Bart. I do recall Lots of hot guys on Bart, but also lots of crazies too. On the commute train, plenty of hot guys in business suits.

When I lived in SF, I loved riding the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit)... it was quick, clean, convenient and usually had plenty of eye candy!

I luv the subway. In london it's kinda enpowering (weird i know) esp when im in my busines clothes lol

The subway in Montreal is super clean and quiet - lots of underground shopping too!! (!)

As kids, my brother and I used to go to the front car of the NYC Subway, and look out the window on the front door, to see where we were going. Above ground, on the "el" (elevated train) we could see all around, underground you could look around the dimly lit tunnels. On the rare occasion I am in the city, I love to do that and reminisce. Back in those days, graffitti was everywhere. Now they just have "scratchitti".

Born in New York and each time I've visited, have not ridden the subway. But I will for Spring Break when I see Janet in concert.

I've ridden the subways in San Francisco and London, love them!

Just use your head and you'll be fine. The newer cars have clear signs that are correct and clear announcements, too, if you can believe that. The old announcement systems sounded like the parents in those Peanuts cartoons, just more muffled and distorted.
