Rihanna and Chris Brown are back together, PEOPLE has learned exclusively.

The pair have reunited almost three weeks after Brown, 19, allegedly battered the "Umbrella" singer on Feb. 8, a source tells PEOPLE.

"They're together again. They care for each other," says the source. The on-again couple are currently spending time together at one of Sean "Diddy" Combs's homes, on Miami Beach's Star Island.

Adds the source: "While Chris is reflective and saddened about what happened, he is really happy to be with the woman he loves."

This truly makes me sick because with Rhianna's influence and celebrity she could've really set an example for women being abused by their spouses if she said "THIS IS NOT OKAY!" and pressed charges and dropped his sorry ass!!
Now girls, (like they most often do) will think it's okay to go running back to the men who beat them.
I realize it goes much deeper and it's a sickness and all stems from conditioning but she truly could've changed how women deal with abuse in a positive manner.
They deserve each other and I hope this is the end of their careeers!

I have no sympathy for women who choose to stay with abusive men. Rihanna has lost all of my respect.

I'm sorry, I don't buy into the "sickness" excuse. This is nothing like the Britney case. She knows what she's doing, she's just not very bright and she suffers from low self-esteem. It's the worst move she could've done, both personally and professionally.
