Thx, i'll check it out now. Rihanna is such a hard worker and you can tell she is serious about her career and that she really wants it.

I'll be happy when she gets her first grammy. Truth be told she should have already gotton a grammy for S.O.S as that was the best dance recording last year next to "Hung Up" or "Sorry" by Madonna.

And if Beyonce sang UNFAITHFUL, it would have won a grammy, because its such a beautiful and real song, but the academy is hating on little miss sunshine, but its all good, keep doing your thing Rihanna, they can't ignore your talents forever.

^^^^LOL! Yeah, she was one of Jay-Z's early signings to the "new" Def Jam when he became president. He also personally signed Rihanna at the same time.

As you can guess, one of them failed to catch on and the other exploded.....

I like Rihanna Feat. Fabolous - First Time and i think "Hate That I Love You" is just ok for me. Rihanna's voice stands out to me on this track though, her voice has really matured. I don't think she blends well with Neyo's voice. And i don't like the "sexylove" sample throughout the song.

I am listening to Rihanna's interview from the Ryan Seacrest radio show. Ryan is hilarious trying to get into her personal business LOL.

I nearly cried towards the end of the interview because she is so sweet and she said that Jay Z said, Good Girl Gone Bad, is the album that will make her or break her :( and it "will determine if do this any longer" :( . I love her spirit though because, she said nobody is going to break her, and that she is determined to make it :). She said she put her all into this album. She said she worked with Timberland and Justin Timberlake. She says the album track for track is incredible and she hopes her fans like her new sound.

I hope i like it too.

I don't know why Jay Z and Def Jam are putting so much pressure on Rihanna with this album, because they signed her to a 6 - 9 album deal and her last CD went platinum and she has won numerous awards all over the world, most recently 4 billboard awards besting Beyonce and Mary J Blige.

They need to not put so much presure on her because you could hear the sadness in her voice that this album will determine the rest of her young career.

Her accent is so cute and she is so down to earth. She flew up her 2 best friends from Barbados and even took them with her on tour but she said that they had to go back to school. One of them was in radio studio with her.

She said she doesn't really have a home base right now and literally has been living out of a suitcase and from hotel room to hotel room, but says, she is currently looking for residence in Los Angeles.

I think its funny that Amerie and Rihanna were a part of this...considering they have both had rumored conflicts with Beyonce since she went solo.

No....you're thinking of Beyonce....Beyonce needs to die for like a year or two...and then get revived and then she'll steal somebody else's style (like she did Amerie's for B'Day) and be all over the radio and TV.


I never really payed attention to Rihanna until recently. I loved Pon De Replay...but the rest of her songs were just meh to me. So I never noticed when they played her on the radio.

After Good Girl Gone Bad I agree that it would be a wise decision for her to take some time off before her next album, she doesn't wanna go and pull a Beyonce. That bitch is tired.

Ok i had to force myself to like it but now i think do like, "Hate That I Love You", i still don't like that "sexylove" is sampled so much in the song, but it should make the album.

Bring It Back - This song better make the album as its Rihanna at her best when she rides an island beat.

The world was first introdiced to hear with Pon De Replay, telling the DJ to "turn the music the up" and now this is part two with her telling the DJ to "Bring it back a again" nice summer jam and the beat is nice. Its like a more uptempo "If Its Loving That You Want" beat.
 
Rihanna is dating

I mean i knew it would happen eventually, as she is young, pretty, successful and has that cute accent but it still caught me by surprize especially since she recently said she is single and just focusing on her new album and career.

On a more awesome note, i finally heard UMBRELLA on the radio today and i was excited , i was singing and bopping LOL, its such an awesome song. It sounds ten times better on the radio.

Can't wait for the video.
