I heard UMBRELLA on the radio again. It was number 3 on a top 10 countdown show.

With UMBRELLA its like awesome and incredible had sex and UMBRELLA is their baby.

UMBRELLA video

Oh my gosh guys the UMBRELLA music video is totally awesome .

It's almost epic and has pyrotechnics falling down and diamond glitter raining down while Rihanna ballets.

She is so sexy in those fishnet stockings and red stiletto heels with the Umbrella opened.

Wow the only thing for me is that she could have choose hotter guys to stand under the Umbrellas but overall love it.

It's so hot, so sexy, and she is doing the ballerina thing that she tried in the We Ride video.

This Australian website showed a 2 minute snippet of it for 30 minutes, the site is down now.

I'm so excited i can't wait for the world premiere.

This song is so going to be HUGE now that she has an awesome video to go with it.

Ummm i just found out that Rihanna will be releasing another single on June 5th called, "Shut up and Drive."

I don't understand the reasoning behind that because UMBRELLA hasn't even started yet, it's going to be HUGE after downloads are released.

And the video just came out last week.

So why would Def Jam release another single. By June 5th Umbrella will probably be number 1.


I really like "Shut UP and Drive" its a hot song but it just seems way too soon.

Umbrella is wow and needs to run its course.

Radio stations are still playing Break It Off lol.

You know i checked billboard today and i was surprized to see that, "Never Again" is the number 8 song in the country. Surprized because it was released after UMBRELLA and the latter song is not even top 20. I found that very concerning because UMBRELLA should be HUGE.

So i had to find out whats really going on. UMBRELLA fans not to worry. Apparently, soon after "Never Again" was released it was made available for digital downloads hence its rise up the charts. For some reason Def Jam won't release UMBRELLA for digital downloads until May 15th 2007. So that explains it. So UMBRELLA should be #1 soon there after.

And then she will release "Shut Up & Drive" on June 5th, the same day her album comes out

I really should give this its own thread but i said i wouldn't start a new Rihanna thread until the album comes out so i wont.


But anyways, "Shut up & Drive" leaked today and i hope i didn't overhype it for you guys but i still maintain its awesome. Its very techno poppy, a little Ray Of Lightish.


I can't get enough of it. Its my new ringtone. This song rules. I mean i like UMBRELLA a littlle more but Shut Up & Drive is gonna be HUGE.

Rihanna has really gone bad though

This song is ALL about sex and i am not sure if i'm cool with Rihanna singing it at 19. I kind of feel dirty after listening to it.

But then again she got naked for UMBRELLA so i should expected an all grown up Rihanna.


Gay clubs are going to have a field day with the remix to this song.

Seems like Kelly Clarkson has a girl crush on Rihanna lol, she couldn't stop complimenting how beautiful Rihanna was in person when they met up at TRL today. She seems to like the UMBRELLA video and the body paint. There was a little tension, not sure of they really like each other lol but its all good.

P.S. Why do Kelly & she have tension?? I heard Rihanna say on TRL that it was hard getting Umbrella to her because so many people were trying to get it for themselves......was Kelly one of them??? I wonder who else was vying for Umbrella??
