All this Umbrella talk made me remember when i first saw the video in my dorm room when it premiered at 9:30am. My roomate was sleeping so i had the headphones on and i replayed the video until i got the choreography down.


I then walked around campus all day with an Umbrella singing the song and doin the moves with the Umbrella.


Oh this just in UMBRELLA has just been named the catchiest song of ALL TIME.

Rihanna’s smash hit Umbrella was yesterday named the catchiest song ever. It stayed at No1 for 10 weeks last year in the UK and had millions of people singing along to the chorus “umbrella, ella, ella”. It was even blamed for the miserable weather after one of the wettest summers on record while it was at the top spot. Researcher Onepoll.com said: “Umbrella was the hit everyone loved to hate. We loved it at first but it was annoying the 100th time. “Even worse, while it was number one it seemed to be raining constantly.”

Huh? I understand that you're making a point, but I am simply talking about the quality of Rihanna's voice overall and why she is not memorable for her singing abilities.

Just for the record to comment on what someone else said earlier, Ashanti is a much better singer than her.

“[Recently] I worked with Rihanna, hopefully working on her next record,” he said. “She’s on a roll. I think she sort of has something different to offer. You can use her distinct, versatile voice as a template for many different styles. She has a keen fashion sense and on top of that she’s hot. Whatever it is, she’s got it.”

They changed the Rehab track. J.T. is supposed to have a more extended part of the song. Kinda like Live Your Life. The video is supposed to come out soon! They started shooting the 21st of this month. Can't wait to see it. I Love That SONG!!!! lol

Rihanna Collapsed on stage!!!

November 07, 2008. MediaTakeOut.com just caught word that R&B singer Rihanna has passed out. While details are still sketchy, word is that Rihanna fell unconscious while in Australia and is now under medical attention!!!!

Here's what MediaTakeOut.com has learned. Rihanna was on stage in Australia performing her hit song “Umbrella” (the duet version with Chris Brown), the last song of her concert.

Approximately half way through the performance, Rihanna hunched over in obvious discomfort and signaling that she wasn’t feeling well.

Rihanna then ran off the stage and paramedics immediately rushed to her side. Chris Brown finished the song and ended the show. After which he immediately rushed backstage to be at Rihanna’s side.

Word is that Rihanna was taken to a local hospital for observation.

EDITOR'S UPDATE #! - Rihanna is reportedly doing a lot better. According to numerous reports, the Bajan singer has recovered from what her people are calling a bout of "dehydration." She's expected to be performing again tomorrow night in Sydney, Australia.

Collapsed? Hardly! She was halfway through a number, bent over then walked off stage. She said she was feeling weak and needed to sit down for a minute or two. Can't be too bad, she's ack on stage tonight.

I used to dislike Rihanna but she has grown on me and this is by far my favourite song by her.

I was going to say the guy in the video looks like a hot Justin Timberlake then I found out that it actually is him and he was one of the writers of the song.

But not feeling the song. Breaking Dishes should have been the last single.
But man is she bleeding that album dry. 9 singles have been released from it.

Although it is a pretty damn amazing album.
