The amount of support a person has doesn't mean shit. Many people have love and support surrounding them, and yet they still go back, even when their families beg them not to. And since you already tossed out there the fact that we don't know the whole story, we also don't know just how supportive her family is behind the scenes. Brown's dad seems all caring and sorry in the press, but that doesn't mean he doesn't still whoop up on the women who are unfortunate enough to date him.

And it's funny you're judging her for going back, when you can't even stay away from a thread you diva-ed your way out of an hour ago.

Did I call you a name? Nope. I just explained the situation. You're the one who popped in, quickly read what I wrote without thinking about it, then basically made me out to be some kind of free speech hating nazi with your sarcastic tone. Yeah, I'm the bad guy here, the one who is trying to defend battered individuals in why they return to abuse. Nope, it's certainly not you, who resorted to calling me a dickhead.

Well, I'm aware it was unnecessary of me to call her stupid. On the surface, it SEEMS stupid...but human beings are deeper than that. There are reasons behind our actions and decisions.

I can't say exactly WHY she went back to him...I don't know her personal history so I can't make a proper assessment. However, many are the cases where the abused wife/girlfriend is mistreat so bad psychologically (wich is where it hurts the most and where the "real" damage is made) that they're lead to believe they're unworthy of anything so they look at the husband/boyfriend and are like "Well, this is better than nothing" since they believe that if they leave him, they won't find anyone who'll want them so they comform to the situation.
Abusive husbands/boyfriends are masters of manipulation. They create a situation where their wives/girlfriends become basically hostages without them being aware of that...they make them feel completely both physically and psychologically dependent on them.

It's an extremely tough vicious cycle to get out from.

Are there any photos of Christine actually outside of the police department when he supposedly turned himself in?

If they're going back to each other, why haven't they spoken out about what actually happened? Clearly, they came to a mutual understanding about the situation, so why not release a joint statement?
