um, i think a sincere heartfelt speech could come from the heart and be improvised. and not be someone else's words read over a teleprompter.

I don't think "his" people spread that rumor. Shortly before the assault, there was a photograph of Rihanna at a club with Chris and she had what appeared to be a cold sore. I think someone just speculated and the rumor caught fire.

If R. Kelly's history of being a pedophile, even after he was caught red handed on video in the act, can be brushed under the rug I'm sure the same will happen to Chris Brown. Never underestimate how stupid these fans are.

True, but it's not like R. Kelly peed on a famous Disney star. Chris Brown beat up a really popular singer, who probably has more fans than he does.
Sure, he'll have a lot of his fans stick with him, but I don't think it'll ever be forgotten or even forgiven.

I think the difference is that what R. Kelly did was an act of perversion, what Chris Brown did was an act of Violence. I think violence will have a less forgiving reaction.
