R&Beef: Rihanna and Ciara Duke It Out on Twitter​

Rihanna and Ciara fans got a taste of R&Beef when the sexy singers got into a war of words on Twitter last night (Feb. 25). Riri took offense to Ci Ci's comments on E!'s "Fashion Police," where Ciara mentioned that her last encounter with the Barbados beauty was less than positive. A few minutes later, Rihanna took to Twitter to retaliate, prompting a cat fight for all the world to see.

Despite some fairly harsh words, the diva battle was short-lived, as the pair quickly squashed the beef, kissed and made up ... all on Twitter, of course. How ladylike! Source

I never really got that idea that you can't hit a woman even if she hits you first. If a woman hits me, I don't give a shit if she a 90 pound ballerina, I'm kicking that cunt across the fucking room. I'm not giving anybody a free pass just because they have a vagina.

While I disagree with the double-standard for the sake of disliking double-standards, I don’t generally think anybody should be hitting anybody. As such, I would not hit her back.* Then I'd call the police, and then royally fuck up her life by relentlessly pursuing charges and lawsuits until the fuck was bankrupt and living in a box.

This is true Ninja. I believe in self defense, whole heartedly in fact. But I don't believe that you should beat someone worse in the name of self defense then they harmed your person. If you gave me a black eye, I don't think that would be grounds for me to put you in the hospital. Chris Brown's mentality is seriously compromised.

Even if she had struck him first. Lets not forget the damage he did to her. Also in the police report it was noted Brown was being followed by his security team in a 2nd car.

All he had to do was pull over and have her removed from the car if that was the case. Also in the report it was noted that he had no marks on him at all. And the fact that this wasnt the first time he had beat her speaks volumes on him as a person.

What's up with all the Ciara shade from some of these girls? First it was Keri and now it's Rih.

What, do they feel like they're better than her b/c her career is floundering so therefore they don't have to respect her as their equal?

Whatever the case, just like how I felt when Keri dissed Ciara for no damned reason at all other than to be bitchy, Rihanna's just as mean-spirited. Sure, Ciara should have privately pulled Rih to the side and told her how she felt instead of putting her on blast on national television. But for Rihanna to pretty much confirm what Ciara had said about her with the "Did I forget to tip you" quip was foul. Like just b/c you have more number one albums and songs than Ciara doesn't make you better or queen bee of the industry. B/c imo if it wasn't for her handlers picking the right producers and songwriters to pen her hits, Rih would have been a flop worst than Ciara right now. At least Ciara can dance and work the stage a little bit, Rihanna can hardly move w/o her puppeteers guiding her.

I dunno why but I expected more from Rihanna. I would never think she would stoop this low and engage in a catty Twitter fight. I don't like stuck-up, self-important bitches, especially when they haven't even proven themselves career-wise to act as such. So Rih, you lost a few cool points with me, baby girl.

IMO, Ciara is giving as good as she gets!
It was a fashion review show, and she had the audacity to choose that most inappropriate moment to put Rihanna on blast, not just on National television, but Worldwide!

I'm not a fan of either really, but whatever happened between them, should've stayed between them. I say, shame on Ciara!

At the LG stadium(?) in Australia, during the performance of 'Rockstar 101'. Rihanna pulled out and started playing a rather sweet bit of guitar.

Or did she? I've only seen two videos, and neither one is really that clear.

Not sure, I do know that Travis Barker taught her to play drums. She did a cover of Sheila E.'s "The Glamourous Life" on drums during the concert as well.

No. I say it for three reasons:

1) Slash played the guitar on the CD version. Do I need to explain more?

2) If you notice, there's a point where she has one hand off the guitar, but there is a guitar riff. There's no way that she can play the guitar with just one hand.

3) She only has the guitar on this song, Rockstar 101, which makes sense. It's probably used to fit the song (see aesthetics) as opposed to displaying off any talent/skill she may have.
