It's sad, but you have to understand the mind of a suicide. To them, there is only one way left to stop the hurt.
 
First time I hear about her and don't have all the specifics about her story, but I wish they can track the bullies down and shame them as they deserve
 
The courts cannot legislate civillity. What a horrible shame. That's why I teach my daughters to fight back, and fight hard! Teenage girls can be so vicious.

I don't know if she was bullied before all this, it is bad she got beaten up, but somehow she could have guessed the reactions from her behaviour. If it was a voyeur recording or if she was bullied just for what she is and her character I could feel much more empathy. There have been worse bullying/suicide stories posted on JUB where I care more.

Way to slut-shame there. In case you didn't know, teens do foolish things sometimes. It doesn't mean they deserve to be bullied to death over it.

Right,because she made a stupid mistake she deserved to be harassed and bullied to the point she felt taking her own life was the only way out? You really come off as a heartless $#@
 
Stories like this are heartbreaking. And it really sucks because the teens that go through this are going through hell and can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, even though there IS one. Once you're finally done with school, you're done with those people. You're done with those bullies and never have to see them again.

I never do this but I went to see the facebook page made in tribute for that girl. People just don't learn. Some people on her page are so outraged right now that they were looking to track down a teen boy that had dated that girl and ''only wanted sex''. Imagine that, people on her page are going to start bullying a teen male because he wanted sex. People don't learn.
 
If I was responsible for raising a child and I spent almost a million dollars to raise them over 20 years and they made threats to suicide and they DRANK BLEACH in my laundry I'd be asking them to wear a 24-hour alert wristband.
 
I read an article about this on Yahoo and here's what I had to say about it:

"I was bullied all through school, but never to this extent. Sure, I've been pushed around, punched in the face, maybe a couple of fights, but it never meant I wanted to kill myself, even though no one ever did anything about it and if they did, it was apparently always my fault. I almost cried when I saw the video. She didn't deserve any of that. No one deserves that kind of treatment. Dammit, we're all human and we all have feelings. What part of that don't people get?"
