He passed away peacefully in his sleep last night at around 6pm. Details are still coming in.

Dom looked like he would be the sweetest guy to be around--rip.

I remember him being on the Dinah shore & mike Douglas show, Way back in the day

<god im old>

R.I.P.

How very sad. He was a great talent and one of the funniest entertainers around.

He was still alive¿¿¿????!!!!!
What a blessing being fat and old while leading a urban lifestyle.

He used to do a purposely terrible magic act, as one of his comedy routines, using one of those awful stage Italian accents.

Every few seconds he'd say,"No applause plis. Sava for de end." (Because of course no one was applauding.)

I guess we can applaud now.

Yeah, I just saw this. Another one of the Greats is gone. My favorites with him were the credits for some of the movies when they did the bloopers at the end. You know, like Cannonball Run and others, when he would screw up a line, or Burt Reynolds would make a wisecrack, and Dom would just bust up laughing. And he was the sort that had a contagious laugh, I cracked up because he was cracking up. He will be greatly missed. RIP Dom. :(

i still remember a movie with burt reynolds in the shower. suddenly the camera includes dom behind burt, putting his arms around him and playing with burt's nipples
ding

Wow I am just shocked A true comedic talent has left us RIP Dom we loved ya!!!!

*Sigh*

I remember watching "The End" when I was a little kid. Most of it sailed right over my head, but I do remember Dom yelling, "That man's nuts ! Grab 'em !"

lol

Even WAY back then I thought it was pretty funny.

RIP, darlin'. Take Bea out for a drink when you get up there.

according to the pic on post #1 (how old was he in that pic),
age 75 ........ lucky he lived for that long because of his weight.

people got a massive heart attack at 40 something ...

i was so sad to hear about dom passing away. i've always been a fan of his work and thought he was brilliant.

good night captain chaos. you will be missed. :(

A great entertainer and one who seemed to have an equal personality. The heavens are laughing and applauding tonight!

I remember him as the voice of Itchy Itchiford, from All Dogs Go To Heaven

Yes, his voice was easily recognisable. And he could make a single word sound so funny. (Watch for his son and director, Peter, make a cameo appearance.)
