He'll always live on in our hearts.....whether he died in 2005 or again today.

This does illustrate a peeve I have always had with online media. Often they do not fully date their articles, as in this case.

I never think of him as Gilligan....he'll always be Maynard G Krebs to me.
 
in 2005 I was very busy trying to keep my job - so I really don't remember this the first time around !

gee, he was sooo young !!

and yes, an interesting guy -- but it was Dobie who tented my shorts in those days.
 
OMG..what a pisser.....this is the funniest thread ever....didnt check the dates.....LOL. I didn't even know he died in 05, so, thanks for telling me now!!!!
 
This is funny because i did the EXACT same thing on another forum i participate in. I think there were a few ''news'' articles popping up on google that were not dated, which led to the confusion. I got teased that Gilligan had died 6 years ago. !oops!
 
I thought he was cute in the "Gilligan" days and I had a crush on him for a short time. There's one episode of "Gilligan" where he is shirtless and I enjoyed that. I also thought there was something up with the constant "little buddy" think between the Skipper and Gilligan. Alan Hale played the Skipper perfectly. I also had a mild crush on the Professor!
