  • Hi Guest - Did you know?

RIP - Mr. Blender

Metta -- I THINK that YOU are the ONLY person I kinda know -- that LEAVES the blender out ALL THE TIME...

Which is PROBABLY why the manufacturers think that looks REALLY aren't that important...

:lol::lol::lol:

*edit* that sounded wrong -- ummmm -- well you understand -- :lol:

I have a walk in pantry and plenty of cupboard space but I leave appliances that I use all of the time, on my counter. It is a convenience thing.

Yes yes...poor blender, but...

Did I hear something about grilled cheese? :drool:

Of course....there is always time to make by virtual hubby some grilled cheese:

Here is my toaster and yes, I leave it on my kitchen counter as well:

Waring makes a huge range of blenders. Only one or two speeds, though, but what the hell do you need 18 speeds for? Hi, low, pulse, and continuous are all you need. The pulse toggle is what it's all about.

Here's a stainless steel Waring that looks like that Oster one you're looking at. http://www.cooking.com/products/shprodde.asp?SKU=103921

I dunno about that Oster one from Amazon. Osters usually have a hard time with ice and leave little chunks of ice no matter how long you leave it on. It looks nice though.

Thanks! I have ordered a Waring....but I got a commercial version. I"m hoping that the quality will be a little better than the residential version. I hope that it looks ok with my toaster.
