Well, I figured it's probably a good idea to ask around here just in case anyone knows about what's happened to me.
Basically about 4 days ago I came back after a night out with my boyfriend and we were kissing on the bed when suddenly the whole bed was covered in blood and my lower body was much the same. I must have rubbed up against him too violently because my fenulum (the strip of skin that connects the tip of your penis to your foreskin) had almost ripped right off my penis. Eventually the wound stopped bleeding, but for the next day or so it hurt to urinate, and I sure as heck didn't want to touch it for fear of opening the wound. I haven't had a very close look at the damage yet because it's still painful to pull the foreskin back, and I don't want to put any stress on the wound.
The odd thing is that the same thing happened to my boyfriend before (I had no idea of this), and everything is fine for him - still uncut and having sex normally. This doesn't give me a huge amount of hope, but then I'm a hypochondriac.
I'll admit to not having gone to a doctor about this, as I don't believe there's anything he could do that he couldn't do in a week's time when I can assess the situation better (I know I probably ought to go see one asap, but while I appreciate your concern please don't point that out).
I've had a look on the internet for others with similar problems and got mixed responses. It seems that I should let it heal and check the damage later. If it's not too bad I can just leave it be, but if the rip is too big then I'll have to get circumsized. This scares me half to death, because I like being uncut, plus I'd rather not be forced into doing it.
Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give.
