On Thursday, Judge Sarah Ellis ordered that the guy in charge of ICE Chicago, Russell Hott, show up for a hearing on Monday because ICE is violating so many parts of an order she issued last week.

On Friday, DHS decided Hott was no longer overseeing Chicago.

^ What needs to happen though is for some actual charges to be laid against ICE.

To demonstrate that they actually are not above the law.

But no one seems to want to do that.

It’s always wise to aim for a target you have a chance of hitting and just getting ICE to act within the law would be victory and even that seems out of reach.

They are loudly announcing to the voters of the US and citizens of the world that they don't care. They won't need elections or voters any more because Project 2025 is going to give them permanent and total control over the government.

I don't think it is tone deaf at all. This regime will not hesitate to impose martial law and dictatorial powers of a police state...backed by an armed forces that is about to be turned internally against the citizens.

And the 37% of the country they rely on for power will love it.

If any other President's taxpayer-funded staff had posted something that insulted the US Constitution and its Free Speech and Freedom of Assembly Amendments, there would be calls for that staffer to be fired. Instead, the Press just reports this as if it were normal.

The federal judge overseeing the Comey and James case did something very unusual yesterday.

He combined motions from both defendants to dismiss the case for vindictive prosecution and because the prosecutor was improperly appointed into one hearing.

If the judge rules in favor of the defendants, both cases are dismissed.

If the judge dismisses with prejudice then they cannot be refiled.

This is also really, really frightening because it is direct proof that billionaires now own the government directly, including the military.

The Trump administration plans to funnel a $130 million donation from an anonymous ally of President Donald Trump toward paying military service members during the government shutdown, the Defense Department confirmed on Friday.

“The donation was made on the condition that it be used to offset the cost of Service members’ salaries and benefits,” chief Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell said in a statement to CNN, adding that the money was accepted under the department’s “general gift acceptance authority.”
