I know a kid who goes to a shcool that has an "Alternative Lifestyle Club" or something like that -- It seems that half the students have the dyed Raven black hair (either that or its purple or pink) - and tons of piercings on their face - and elsewhere -- and yes, even the dreaded tatts !! -- and they called us Hippies --
At least these kids will grow up accepting pretty much everybody - regardless of their "weirdness" !!!

Great song/video. Why does Archie have red hair but black eyebrows? Does that mean he has black pubes? Too bad Betty and Veronica are stuck with the "girl" instuments. One of them should be on bass or lead guitar.

Yeah, I'm a child of the late 1960s/early 1970s. All the Saturday morning kid's programs were "far out". Witchiepoo from "HR Puff N Stuff" was my favotie....so manic!

VERONICA #202 features the full-issue story, “Isn’t it Bromantic?” that introduces Kevin, Archie Comics’ first openly gay character. Kevin Keller is the new hunk in town and Veronica just has to have him. After Kevin defeats Jughead in a burger eating contest at Pop’s Chocklit Shoppe, she desperately latches onto him. Mayhem and hilarity ensue as Kevin desperately attempts to let Veronica down easy and her flirtations only become increasingly persistent.

I listened to it a few times and it's hard to make it out.

It sounds like "acid" and "that's what" at the same time.

Given this was the late 60's early 70's, I think they were fucking with us a bit...

There's a couple of other "Archie's songs" that have really strong drug overtones... Lots of stuff "for kids" did back then.

But, who knows....

As for whether any other Riverdale students will be gay, Parent says: "Traditional Riverdale characters won't be coming out."
