Now, I’m okay and spent today with friends. And I came across some photo’s of York station from the late 1950’s that someone is making a 4mm scale model of. It is a huge model, some 40 feet by 25 feet. Here’s a couple of the photo’s of it:

Thanks to all of you guys for your thoughts, prayers and well wishes over the past week. It was a mournful occasion obviously, but the service was just as celebratory as it was emotional. He's in a better place and we'll see him again when it's our time.

I missed you guys and I'm glad to be back, but what's this I hear about the site getting a major update? Hopefully it goes off without a hitch and Rob and I can give our whips a rest. ;)

Thanks for the Aaliyah pics, Andrew! :kiss: Yesterday marked the 21st anniversary of her passing and we'll be marking the 21st anniversary of 9/11 in a few weeks. The latter half of 2001 was a crazy time.

I felt empty, so alone after losing my Mother, but I could sense her presence everywhere I went, and in all the things I was doing for several months after losing her. That has eased up now, but I still think of her each day.

I did a much needed deep cleaning around the house this afternoon and got a bit emotional when one of my uncle's favorite songs came on Music Choice, but it also brought back some great memories. Their spirit stays with us forever and I know your mom is looking down on you with so much love and pride. I'm glad the pain of her passing has eased up. Hi rm hope you are doing OK its sad when you lose someone it doesn't go away but the memories last forever. And yes the 25th of this month was the anniversary of Aaliyah death how time goes by so fast it was like it just happened and the next month was 9/11 :(

I'm sorry to have been so long away from JUB. Thanks for your birthday wishes. Condolences on the loss of your much-loved uncle. I know love is never wasted. It goes somewhere somehow to someone and just keeps making everything better.

I'm in Philadelphia International Airport, a place where I occasionally work. But this time I'm flying myself, to Gulfport/Biloxi, Mississippi. After a couple Gulf Coast days, I'm heading to New Orleans for Southern Decadence, then to Houston, going home Sept. 11.

I'm in trouble at work...the big boss was upset I wasn't working last Saturday. Too bad. I don't really need the job although I like not being broke.

Wishing you well as August wraps up. You're an autumn kind of guy, right?
