rmcrae Appreciation Thread

My Friday CVS inventory was at Ann's Choice in Warminster, PA. There were lots of walkers and wheelchairs and I avoided them all. The people are mostly lovely. And since I'm not there that long, even the cranky old folks amuse me.

Today's job was even better, although it took an hour to get there. I spend most Saturday mornings inventorying Giant Food pharmacies, and they're tidy and easy to count.

And now...I have three days off! And no money! So it'll be reading, TV, and...oh, yeah, that bin of junk I really need to go through.

I’m okay, but have come across videos of something called Sky Trumpets, in YouTube. Perhaps they are hoaxes, or natural phenomena. I’m not sure, but they are making me question everything. Are we near the end of time, or just someone having a big joke?

I did have a picture, in my mind, that people were making the videos of them, but with either someone stood behind them, blowing a trumpet, or a recording of trumpets.

I’ll listen to the sounds of the planets over the long holiday weekend. I’ve always had a keen interest in astronomy, and have always been particularly interested in Mars. The idea of Martian canals is so fascinating, and sad there are actually none. I know there are plenty of other solar systems which we now know about, so surely some of those planets must be capable of supporting life. I live in hope that life, on one of those planets, will be found one day.
