It's 113 at 10AM. Going to a funeral at 12:30 in the hottest part of the day when the heat will be 120 again. Glad the church has new A/Cs. This heat will last well into next week. Got to get in the shower before the cold water gets hotter than the hot water.

I’m okay, and much earlier on here this evening! :p:lol: However, I’m still working on the model locomotive in question. It is not running quite as it should. If I take it’s body off it’s quite smooth and quiet, but when the body is back on it stutters and grinds. I have got it a bit easier, but I have quite a way to go. A crank pin dropping off didn’t help, but I have got it back in place.

We had a tornado warning at 10 AM. I'm glad to report nothing blew away here, but it was scary to consider what a tornado could do in such an urban area. They usually blow away trailers, right?

I'm cleaning and packing today. Off to Pittsburgh tomorrow.

My mother was working in the movie studios in the 30s and was a member of the chorus that sang for the Munchkins in the 1939 movie Wizard of OZ. She was so proud of being part of the film. She did not appear on screen, only the soundtrack and was uncredited.
