Hi RM, Happy Friday!

Is it still broiling? Yesterday was quite cool in Chicago. I took a long walk on the South Side, along Marquette Park. I'm sure the cardio was worthwhile, but since I ended the walk with a burger platter at Huck Finn restaurant, I wiped out any weight loss. (Huck Finn is a mini-chain of 4 restaurant/donut shops. I've eaten at their Archer Ave. shop a few times, but this was my first at Pulaski Ave.)

Going to the Cubs game this afternoon at Wrigley Field!

Good Sunday night guys! (*8*)

Y'all, I was sick as a dog most of the weekend. A coworker of mine fell ill with a summer cold earlier in the week and I did everything I could to avoid catching it, but it got me. Friday was awful and spent mostly in bed, Saturday was a tad bit better, but today was much better and I'll be back at work tomorrow. Thanks for all the posts and vids in my thread and I hope you guys all had a great weekend!

You worked today? I don't think I'm working any more. After the fiasco August 8, a week away convinced me I'm ill-suited to the job I've been doing for 23 years. And due to a merger they want me to do a drug test (I'm fine with that) and a background check (a third party getting my personal info? I'm not fine with that.)

So I'm done. If I go broke I can work somewhere but for now I'm fine.
