I got to York and the model railway exhibition, and managed to not spend too much money. ;). I did get a book about freight trains in the north east of England which should be a valuable resource. I was at The Kelly Clarkson Show taping in NYC Thursday. It will air this Monday. They tape the segments out of sequence...and the musical guest, Marcus King, wasn't even there. His bit was taped another time and maybe even another place.
We did see Sheryl Crow, who looked great but did not perform! We also saw Heidi Gardner from SNL, and magician Justin Willman who was entertaining.
Like many TV tapings, you wait a long time. It was indoors at least, inside Rockefeller Center.

So I'm staying home and spending nothing next week. I fly to Nashville next Sunday.
