I am so sorry about your internet. What they did was unacceptable, and they should be fixing it for you this weekend. The 18th is not on. I hope you have given them hell. You have my total sympathy and support, plus all my love.
Please don’t worry about me, I will enjoy what you have lovingly sent me. Thank you for everything, RM.

Now, RM, some bad news of my own. My kitchen sink has been incredibly slow to drain, so, earlier on today, I tried to unblock it by removing the U Bend. That went okay, and I got out a huge amount of dirty sludge, etc.,
So, when I came to put it back, it would not join up properly. I tried and tried and tried to do it, but I ultimately had to concede defeat and a plumber is supposed to be coming sometime on Monday.
I am managing by using the bathroom sink. Thankfully my laundry is done until next week.

So, I’m incredibly late getting online today, but will try to get you a hot email sent before I go to bed. . Unfortunately there won’t be time for the studs until tomorrow, but I promise to send you some then.

Wow, talking about VCRs! I still have a couple of them and a bunch of VHS tapes, but it's been years since I played anything. It might be a good afternoon to see if my machine still works. After all, I used to watch for hours when VCRs were the current thing, why can't I do it now?

Good afternoon, RM. I hope you will have a lovely day today. I’m really pleased and relieved that you have got your internet back. Like you are thinking, it must have been your neighbours who had given that company hell.
Anyway, I have got you a hot email sent, and I’m just back from a short but good bike ride.
The plumber came, in the morning, and fixed what needed doing. Then he noticed a leak elsewhere in those pipes, tried to fix it, and CRACK!!! The pipe that drains the water away from the sink had broken off! I’m to have the plumber back, later on next week to fit in place a new one.

So, I will enjoy the hot studs a bit later on, and I promise to send you some sexy studs before I go to bed.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that all those issues are sorted when the plumber comes back. New pics on the way!

I'm afraid Florida is joining you in being hot. It has been steamy the last couple of days, and there's a heat advisory out for this afternoon,

Well, there's some not-so-good news about my old VCR. It tried to eat the tapes when I tried it Sunday. Now I'm going to have to hook up and test out the other VCR that was my Mother's, which I've never used. I'll probably just feed it a couple of blank tapes first, to see if it's safe.
