Now, I’m ok, but we have a yellow warning for torrential rain tomorrow!!

So, RM, here’s what happened on the the bike ride yesterday. There’s that area of pasture land, west of Beverley called The Westwood, complete with a racecourse and a golf course. I cycled out of Beverley past the racecourse, and went round some of the lovely villages. Coming back into Beverley, I used the other road past the golf course.
On the right, I noticed a small group of hot guy’s waiting to tee off. After I had gone a few yards further along the road, I could here a whistling sound, and looked up. One small, white golf ball. It was coming down from a clearly badly hit teeing off by one of the naughty studs. It landed, on the road in front of my front wheel before bouncing away to the left. So, thankfully, no harm done.
I didn’t go and spank any of the guys though, I’m not really like that. We could have had a kinky orgy, but maybe if I come across those guys again we’ll see. .
Today, whilst out, on the bike, going to the newspaper store, I got caught at one of our level crossings at Beverley North. The barriers had failed in the down position. It took up to about 10 to 15 minutes to get them fixed and raised back up. It’s something that happens once or twice a week. They are quite old.
