rmcrae Appreciation Thread

Hi RM! This weekend is passing much too quickly.

I have to admit I didn't allow enough time for a culinary adventure in Northern New Jersey before Thursday's hockey game. I went to the Wendy's in Harrison, NJ. I've been there before and it's actually a very good Wendy's.

I'm going back for the game against Winnipeg next month, so I'll plan for a more interesting meal.

The game was good although Calgary beat the Devils, 5-3,

I'm currently experiencing "too much month at the end of the money." Until my next deposit Feb. 21, I'm scraping by. The rent's paid, the cupboard is full, but no luxuries! I have several library books out so this will be a reading week.

Well, I am ok, but knackered! I have put together an emergency’drainpipe’ in my kitchen to catch and drain away the drips.
Also, unfortunately, a very good friend of mine has gone and done something to his lower back. He’s taking strong painkillers.
I am helping him out, especially with heavy shopping etc., So, it’s a negative phase of life this week.

Sorry about the big size of that picture of what I have done about the ceiling leak. I couldn’t get it any smaller!

Now, it is not looking good for the friend who is sick. I had a message from him earlier today. He is sleeping about 17 hours a day. He is not eating, and the virus is in his nose and throat. I think if it gets any worse he will have to go to hospital. I’m very worried for him.
And, as if it can’t get any worse, another friend is going into hospital tomorrow for a small operation. He should recover to full health, thank goodness. My third friend with the bad back is no better, and is having problems with things like getting dressed, using the toilet etc., I continue to help him as much as I can.
So, my time online maybe limited for the next few days. I will keep you updated as much as I can. But it’s definitely difficult times right now.

Well, because of all that’s going on, I haven’t been able to enjoy the sexy studs that you sent me last night. I think it will be the weekend before I can. ;). I hope you can enjoy the studs I have been able to send you. :p. I will try and send you more hot studs. *|*

Thanks for the glittery virtual Valentine! I used to do greeting card inventories often. American Greetings had a line called "Sugared Almonds" which were covered in glitter. After counting that section inevitably there'd be glitter all over my black pants. I was glad when the line was discontinued.

There are two outdoor hockey games this weekend at Met Life Stadium, where the football Giants and Jets play. I'll watch on ABC. Tickets start at $60 and in a huge football stadium you know they'll be f-a-r from the action.
