Hi RM!

I'm home after enjoying a week in Ohio. I started by taking g the train to Cleveland, spent a few days there, then took the bus to Columbus for hockey. I saw a good win for the Blue Jackets! But this season will not be a playoff one for them.

I also bar hopped. Columbus has a nice variety of gay bars scattered across town. The Short North neighborhood is the traditional gayborhood but I really spent little time there. I stayed at an Airbnb in Old Towne East, a block from AWOL Bar. My favorite is Toolbox Saloon. And I liked Roger's Bear Happy Hour at Southbend Tavern with go-go boys and drag Queens at a reasonable hour!

So I'm safely home. No passenger trains at all in Columbus.

I'm going to brunch tomorrow with a friend I worked with.

Rob, I hope you're doing well, and I'm glad you're feeling better. I know there are times that I think about what's going on in my life, especially when everything seems to stay the same, and all the terrible things going on in the world, etc. I'm glad you got to the cemetery on Mother's Day. Recently I bought a bunch of artificial flowers at Dollar Tree, and put them on the graves of my Mother, my father, and my grandmother. I felt good about being able to do that.
