Just that little space under the rain gutters. The pest guy came an hour early to change out the trap and I hoped the three squirrels would make a break for it, but all three were in the new repositioned cage having a full-on meltdown chewing at the wire mesh to no avail when I came home. A fellow squirrel from the outside even joined in which was fascinating to watch. I don't want them to perish though. I just want them as far away from the rain gutters as possible.

I'm sorry you're having to deal with that squirrel infestation. Hopefully you'll get rid of them. I had an opossum take up residence in my utility room a couple of times in the past, I believe I posted it on Just Us Boys before. Both times he eventually left on his own.

Rob, I hope you're doing well. I'm glad you got out with a couple of friends to take a walk, even though the weather was bad. And yeah, every once in a while, we have to straighten up and sort around the house. It's boring and tedious, but we have to do it if we don't want our houses to be overrun by clutter.

(*8*) I saw the "outside" squirrel was smuggling food to the incarcerated ones when I got home so hopefully all three can make it to Saturday when the pest control guy returns. My grandfather HATED squirrels. We have them but they don't bother me. I think they're cute and I was probably one in a past life. I DON'T like mice. I haven't seen it but John, my homeowner, says he's seen one in the house lately.
