Rob, I hope everything is going well for you. BTW, it looks like that locomotive is getting its tanks filled by a hose just as wide as the ones we use to fuel up our cars. As big as those engines are, I would think it must take hours to fill one of those things up.

The movie, The Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes was great. A virus changed humans to silent and dumb, with the apes becoming knowledgeable and intelligent. Plenty of battles. I won’t say more in case you are going to see it.

Well, here’s this evening’s train pic. It is of
47523, at Hull Paragon, having been released by the station pilot after arriving from King’s Cross, on the 21st July, 1975.
The Class 47 will take charge of the 17:38 return working to the Capital.

Rob, on looking at that hose, I do believe it's a bit bigger than the ones we use for our cars, but I still think it would take a long time to fuel up a locomotive. And on that train derailment, it sort of looks like there was a part of an old track switching mechanism that shouldn't have been there, that was in the wrong position, as in, it was set to direct the train onto a track that is no longer there, and that is what caused the derailment. Did I see that right? Why didn't they completely remove the switching mechanism?

I hope you enjoyed the Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. With as many movies as that franchise has, I'm waiting for them to come out with something like "Brunch on the Planet of the Apes."
