Well, it was a bit cooler today, but now we have a warning for severe thunderstorms overnight and Thursday. Prolific cloud to ground lightning is forecast in the worst storms along with anything up to 4 inches of rain and huge hailstones! The worst of the storms are forecast to the south of where I live, but I’m going to unplug things like the tv to be on the safe side.

Last Saturday's Porkroll party was OK. I didn't achieve my main goal of making new friends, but I did enjoy dancing amid a variety of attractive men. The music was techno, no polka...but I prefer dancing to actual songs.

They're having another in August, but I plan to go to Jersey City Pride instead. I went last year and liked it.

And I fly to Chicago next Wednesday! The next few days I'll be sticking around home. I bought eggs today, $1.99 for a dozen medium, so a lovely omelet is on the breakfast menu. My total grocery order cost $21.21 since I'm not stocking up.
