RNC chairman makes it clear the Republican Party is still opposed to marriage equality

It's the same old speech we've heard from people who voted against our rights.
That they don't really hate us but they believe marriage should be between a man and woman.

I'm glad to know nothing's changed. Most of society seems to be in favor of equal rights for us. The more they alienate the general public on that and other issues, the less of a chance their radical legislation has in seeing the light of day.

And if..... God forbid...... the republicans somehow get control of the Senate and the office of the President, they'll sure as Hell try to repeal all the marriage rights and legally discriminate against the Sodomites again.

Last election it was all jobs jobs jobs (remember.....?) but they were blowing smoke out of their asses. Really it's all about their war on women and their right to choose. What lie will the republicans use to slither their way into office in 2014?

That is what scared me the most about 2012,and what will scare me about 2014. I'll say this about the Senate,if the Republicans overreach,it will be at their own peril.
Because in 2016,they will be defending 24 seats, very few of which will be in safe Red states. And in an election year, that means the 2010 wave they enjoyed will be turned on them big time.

For life can not understand how any one the LGTB community can associate themselves with the Republican Party. They will never give us there support or understanding. The preach hate and intolerance each and every day.

Our party believes that life begins at conception.

On what basis?

That's what they never come out and say. Of course it wouldn't do, because the common thread behind many GOP policies these days is a very specific and narrow religion, which of course can't be written into law according to the Constitution.

I'd love to see a summary of who Vladamir Putin has consorted with, in enacting the horrific anti-gay laws in Russia. (NOW, A TOURIST CAN BE THROWN INTO PRISON under the mere suspicion of being gay.) I'll BET ALMOST ANYTHING that he has been talking to American preachers, and at least a couple of high-profile Republicans, or something.

He hasn't talked with any high-profile Republicans but Tony Perkins, Peter Laberra,Scott Lively,Bryan Fischer, all of whom have in it with many of the Republican candidates for 2016 have all praised Russia's laws.

Maybe not, but some of these American Talibangelicals have certainly encouraged it, and have sown some of the seeds of this. From within the article that Cowboybob linked:
Scott Lively, a Massachusetts-based evangelical lawyer and activist, conducted a 50-city speaking tour of Russia in 2007, and says the current bill reflects policies that he advocated at the time.

At the end of his tour, Lively released a "Letter to the Russian People," and he redistributed it this month after the parliament vote.

"Grace, Love, and Respect..."

He better watch using those words around Republicans else they might start thinking he's "one of them queers."

The only problem they have with the governments in the Middle East is the fact it's the Islamic religion. If it was a Christian government oppressing their poeple, they'd be on board for it.

I'm so looking forward to being in St. Petersburg in two weeks. If you don't hear from me after that, you know that I'll be giving blow-jobs in some Gulag somewhere.

Be careful when you go there rareboy and let us know how you make out!
