He had done some gay porn/wrestling videos under the name of "Brett Mycles". After his short porn career, he was able to make it in the world of legitimate fitness modeling. He was named by Muscle & Fitness as the Fitness Model of the Year.

Sad... but you do have to wonder if the guy got big through steroid-induced methods - especially since he died of heart failure.

Before we all jump into conclusions and cast judgment, let's wait until the results of the autopsy are finalized.

A poster (Cordell) from Atkol forum has stated it perfectly. I will quote him:

A relative has posted on the muscleservice website that Rob died in his sleep last Saturday night. He had been having some irregular heartbeats but his relative says Rob was not too concerned because his Mom had had similar problems. The cause of his death has not been determined until an autopsy is completed which will be sometime - weeks - so I think speculation about the cause is merely that, speculation. Whatever the cause of his death it is still his death and that is very upsetting. I don't care the cause, I care that we have lost him.

I for one am deeply saddened by this news and wish to God that it were not true but all indications that I see lead me to believe that it is indeed true. May he rest in peace. I grieve for him, for those he left so suddenly and for his family. I understand he was married and this has to be an enormous shock to his wife.

Brett Mycles (real name Robert Sager) (December 2, 1977 - February 2007), was an American male pornographic actor. He starred in several pornographic movies and posed in several gay porn magazines. He worked in gay pornography, but his "attitude" was very much "straight-acting". His actual sexual orientation is Bisexual. In a 2005 interview, he said that he recently married his high school sweetheart who he first met when he was 19 and she was 17.
He was born in Houston, Texas, moved to Ohio and resided in the Los Angeles area. At 22, while in Ohio, he entered an Arnold Classic bodybuilding contest where he was spotted by photographer Irvin Gelb.
In addition to being a "porn star" and nude model, he also was a pre-law student, nude wrestler, fitness model, and personal trainer.
Sager was found dead in his appartment over the last weekend of February 2007, aged 29. Apparently he died in his sleep of congestive heart failure.
