Tom Robinson from the same period. He was a good looking bloke in his twenties, I seem to remember having a wee bit of a crush on him in my mid-teens.

Rod Stewart's hit is very well known, it still gets regular plays on oldies radio. But also from the same year, 1976, popickers, was this song which few people are familiar with. It has a similar sad story to Rod's popular record, unlike that record it got poor radio play and therefore disappoining sales. I bet none of you have heard it before so do please give it a listen now.
