Roger Clemens is back in a Yankee uniform

Is it the name of clemens or is it clemens that'll fix the yankees, meaning will his name or his force turn the yanks around?

Well of course the marquee name will sell tickets, but I just don't see him saving the Yankees, they have a lot other other problems. Although they have had a few good outings lately, winning one against the Red Sox last night and the Mets last week.

Roger said he's closer to being ready to play for the New York Yankees after throwing 102 pitches Tuesday night in his second minor-league start since signing up, he walked four, struck out five.
But Wednesday, he did not do as well. He surrended three runs and six hits over 5 1/3 innings, he also gave up four walks and complained of tired legs.

There was talk of him starting on Tuesday against Toronto, but I dono, maybe he needs a little more time.

He's pitching tonight v. the Royals in Kansas City. The Yankees have to win more games on the road where they have a losing record.

Love RC or hate him we will now see what he is capable of at age 44 in terms of getting the Yankees to the post season.

They are on a tear. that win last night 21-4 over the D-Rays was impressive, even though Tampa is at .388 and hold the worse record in baseball.
The Yankees post season is looking more promising they have been making ground in the wild card race, now at 6. They still have the Indians and Mariners to deal with.
As for Clemens, well he's 2-4 with a 3.88 ERA, hopefully he's not outta gas yet.
The Yankees should have no trouble with the Royals lefty Perez tonight.

Of course I have to mention the Mets teriffic west coast roadtrip winning 5 outa 7
Payback to the Dodgers was sweet.

They both should have stayed in Houston! It was such an awesome story to have these home town heroes playing for the Astros.
