Our American Democratic Party would be regarded in Europe as a conservative party, as it stands somewhat right of the European (and world) center. The British Conservative Party is much closer ideologically to the Democrats than to Republicans.

There is a joke in Europe: "America has two political parties - right and far right."

The funny thing there was that Maggie was 1) pro-choice and 2) believed that the National Health Service was a human right and 3) religion was a private matter.

I believe that, if Maggie were to run here in the United States, I could vote for her in a heartbeat.

Palestinian TV and textbooks teaches their people that suicide terrorism is grand and to be honored - that Israelis are to be killed

If that wasn't enough, then there's Hamas ..........

Bottom line is Israel has prospered and their people have benefitted while the Palestinians have not

I would rather not go back to being hated internationally. I've been abroad during the Bush years and if I didn't say I was a Democrat, I got dirty looks. Then again, multiculturalism is not a Republican characteristic anyways.

I get the anger the press aide may have had. It was a very solemn moment. The appropriate thing is to be the bigger man and later chastise the press for having no shame. The Brits spent a lotta dough on their Olympics - the ratings are good - but the event sucks - but Mitt should've done the anti JayHawk and kept quiet

Israel - has a real friend in Mitt - tough for American Jews to not vote democrat but more will this election than in past

Poland - Obama called a Nazi death camp a Polish death camp so Mittens is gold
