Well, Romney may have fun with Gingrich here soon, but he is far from being Presidential material.

stay away from the Pac site but watch the videos.

Also: In November, Romney was beating Obama 47-34 among those voters. Now the numbers are upside down: Obama is beating Romney 44-36.

he will sell out Americans. he will accelerate our economic inequalities.

What's not to love?

Whatever you make of the specific charges, it seems clear at this point that Democrats sense Romney has a fragile grip on his public image. And they’re seeking to lock in the most negative impressions possible while Romney’s still busy fighting a primary, even if that means using some material that will end up being recycled in the general election.

Romney's crony capitalism isn't wrong because its not illegal, its wrong because its not ethical.

These Super PACs are over the top. Geez, is this that we're going to have to expect and see 24/7 when the general election comes along?

Wishing John Edwards was still around (in politics) he would have a field day with Romney. Not saying Obama isnt up to the job, because he is, but Americans want these people prosecuted and thrown in jail.

Everyone should watch the videos.

What a difference a week makes.

The data may be a bit sporadic, but the trend isn’t looking good for former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney right now — he just suffered a major defeat in the South Carolina Republican primary and is working through messaging problems over the release of his taxes. Romney has had a tepid relationship with conservatives in his party all along, but he’s been able to deal with the problem. But as the primary campaign grinds on, Romney may be facing a new issue: Independent voters are breaking away from him hard.

It will be enough to make everyone vomit.

Think of what it's going to be like from September up to the elections in November. The airwaves are going to be filled with negativity like this.

I won't have the television on much.

The worst part is that the nation has descended from fighting elections over philosophies and ideas to fighting them as though they were on a reality show and the only way to win is for candidates to expose each other for the heinous pieces of shit they all apparently are.

And in the absence of any proofs, just use innuendo.

The best part is that the entire thing is a perfect example of 'Be Careful What You Wish For'. Just one election season and already, even the politicians are waking up to the devastating influence of the SuperPacs and unlimited money flowing in to be used not in promotion but in order to destroy any opposition at any cost.

This is the final death knell of healthy democracy in the US.

Yes times multiple super PACs

I dont have it on much now. I just hope none of them start advertising on Hulu.

Superpacs + I already have 250 million at my disposal = Mitt Romney is the most disgusting piece of trash to ever seek the office of president.

Hate to break it to you sweet heart but Mittsy is just playing up to par. While Obama had to quickly come out and say they are not trying to reach a billion for his campaign war chest the fact is he was up in the 900 million region last time. The overall expense by all candidates was about 4.5 billion.

Obama knew that his unique small-donor, grass-roots fundraising WOULD NOT work this time around and went straight for the giants in corporate funding to get his treasure and he is doing quite well. That and if you think Romney will be the only candidate to benefit from negative campaign ads and SuperPACs then you really are deceiving yourself.

I hope he blows his entire fortune on his campaign and I hope his family forgives him.

Tell Mitt we want our money back. ..|

Well aren't you a hateful little sack of something.

If you think Mitt is worse than Bush, or *shudder* Carter, you're nuts.

Oh, and if you think Obama is just going to sit idly by you have another thing coming. I have no doubt some of the nastiest mud slinging in the coming election is going to be coming from his campaign. (oh look, youve already started it for them)

THis is how most elections are in the U.S. these days. Don't address the issues, simply make your opponent seem like the biggest piece of garbage to ever walk the face of the earth and who deserves to burn in hell as soon as possible.

Try living in FL right now....

I mean, I knew the onslaught was going to be bad, but I NEVER expected anything like this...

Nor have I ever *seen* anything like this... Three out of four commercials are either declaring how awful Romney or Newt are, and they're running 24 hours a day. Sometimes two or three in a row.

I've never seen political advertising like this. It's offensive and unrelenting.

Of course, Tuesday after the polls close it will all go *poof*, at least for a little while.

But, the mind boggles at what the coming Fall will bring. #-o

I've watched many of the Republican debates and what a disservice to rational debate those circle jerks are. I fault mostly the moderators and their mostly inane questions. Even when they manage to get in a good question, they seem to follow up quickly with a stupid one. They fail to stick to important issues, fail to follow up answers with more pointed questions to challenge the candidates and let canned, talking point answers slide by. The last debate was the worst yet. With fewer candidates, I would expect the debates to improve.

^ The tragedy is that all debates have become is infotainment.

Just another schlock 'reality' celebrity apprentice/real politicians of .........toddlers and tiaras spectacle.

There is no real debate any more, except when Paul goes completely off the RNC script.

The only reason that every news org has to have one of these is ratings.

But honest to Christ folks.

After you've heard the same chatter and gotcha attacks the first ten times, there really isn't much to find out is there?

They should have limited debates to about four; each with a specific topic relevant to Presidential powers and policy.

With no more stupid personal lines of questioning.

And no more opportunities for each candidate to try to outdo one another in their guns, God and Gays rhetoric.
