Romney's VP: David Petraeus ?

^ugh my mind went to the gutter. "DP" and "taking it" (or them for proper grammar) should not be next to each other in a sentence.

i think mundane is being kind

Portman is bright but attached to GWB ........ Pawlenty lasted :30 in the primary season

if he picks either, he won't get ANY lift

Rubio would provide some oomph and to a lesser extent Ryan I think - with the latter having much more backlash

christie is the only guy who would really help IMO but that's for greater minds ;)

who's running Mitt's campaign???

The good money is on someone who would not upstage Romney. Petraeus would do that if he only ever moved his pinky finger. I think not.

I love this. Upstaging Romney? I think moving his pinky is something that would upset a whole new faction.
He, Romney, wishes the trees would fall in his direction. Uh, Oh, I'm rambling.
But really, JH I love that pinky reference. Shows how far they can go to get a member of the GOP to drool!
God! I love that line.

Petraeus won't be VP no matter what the media says. He would make a good president that IMO both parties could rally around. I possibly would have given him my vote for President if I learned more about him.

Wonder if he'd consider running with Obama....

That's probably overstated. But I bet he'd sound more presidential, just clearing his throat.

David Petraeus has more integrity than to run as Romney's VP. This is a non-issue.

A retired army officer friend tells me that anyone who rises to the rank of general has skeletons in their closets -- sometimes many.

Calling Kay Summersby......

The problem with today's skeletons is that they're barely in the closet. They come out of every corner at the promise of a PEOPLE magazine cover.

Romney picking anyone for a VP doesn't matter because he'll (she'll) never be one. A candidate is all they'll ever be.

One of FDR's vice presidents, John Nance Garner, said (and I paraphrase) "the vice presidency isn't worth a bucketful of warm piss."

I'm almost feeling sorry for him.

And what's with all this "The Walking Dead" stuff.... is that anything like OBLC?

Poor guy.(*8*)

...... soooo much hate!

It's Laurel and Hardy

w/o the laughs

yep, this is a bucket full of warm piss . . .

Patreaus would be a good president. As a VP, he would outshine Romney almost immediately when they realize that he is far and away better than Romney.

Then again, maybe Romney wants that? It might get him elected. Lord knows he has no other chance.

Going one step further, I would not be surprised that both parties would put a hit out on a President Romney if Patreaus was VP just so he would become President.
